日本的奈良與神戶，歷史建築如何在當代重新被使用？位於奈良的奈良監獄，如今正轉型為星野集團經營的旅館，讓昔日嚴肅的建築有了全新的城市角色。而作為港口的神戶，城市中仍保留許多與西方文化交流的歷史痕跡。像是1924年建成的哥德式教堂，如今由百年糕餅品牌改建為烘焙坊與咖啡餐廳。星巴克神戶北野異人館店則保留舊異人館格局，讓人感受昔日風情。港區的海岸大廈（舊三井物產神戶支店）現有商業跟餐飲的混合用途。由1930年代的神戶生絲檢驗所，活化成「神戶設計・創意中心 KIITO」，是為結合設計、文化與生活的新場域。透過老屋新生，看見城市歷史持續被延續。 -- Hosting provided by SoundOn
