Ep30 | Parental Guilt: Impact vs Intention Pt 3

from Wholehearted Loving · host Georgianna Lee + Stephanie Hunter

There are always situations we could have handled better. Our capacities for compassionate connection are constantly limited by time, energy, and our personal programming. This is true for our parents, and for us too — and the resulting guilt & shame get in the way of our connections. It's never too late to make repairs though, and holding your own shame with love is a great place to start. In today's episode we talk about everything that builds up for us that gets in the way of our connection to loved ones, and how to work with it. There are so many great tools available for conscious parenting, gentle parenting, and conscious relationship in our modern world. We are all learning to use them collectively, and things are changing — we're adding more compassion to human interactions, and we all have a role to play.
