Florian berichtet diesmal ausführlich von Robert Schwentkes &#8222;Der Hauptmann&#8220;, erzählt was er in einem Projekt sucht, für das er sich entscheidet und warum er bisher keine Dokumentationen gemacht hat. Florian Ballhaus etablierte sich ab Ende der 1990er Jahre als sehr eigenständiger DoP. Er begann in seiner alten Heimat Deutschland und sprang dann mit seinem heute langjährigen Kollaborateur Robert Schwentke über den großen Teich, wo er bis heute lebt und arbeitet. Mit &#8222;Die Frau des Zeitreisenden&#8220; geht der zweite Teil unserer Werkschau weiter. Wir streifen ein paar von Florians Werken nur am Rande, wie &#8222;R.E.D.&#8220;, bei dem er durchaus auch negativen Erfahungen mit Hollywoodgrößen machte. Rückkehr mit &#8222;Der Hauptmann&#8220; Für Robert Schwentkes Herzensprojekt &#8222;Der Hauptmann&#8220; kehrte Florian nach fast 20 Jahren zu Dreharbeiten eines Films nach Deutschland zurück.
