from 21st Century Pain Solutions · host 21st Century Pain Solutions

What if pain is more than just a patient's medical history? It's tied to a patient's overall history including their past experiences, past trauma, relationships with people, lifestyle, and much more. This is what Chris Goodrich breaks down on this podcast where I interview him on the different aspects of the understanding of pain causes and pain management. Chris explains his history with pain, how he overcame it, and what he's doing to help patients to look as pain as potential for growth. Chris Goodrich, MD is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician who specializes in the treatment of chronic pain without opiates. He completed medical school at the University of Virginia and residency at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore/University of Maryland, along with training in Mind Body Medicine through the Center for Mind Body Medicine. He currently practices in Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA focusing on mind-body approaches for the support and treatment of those suffering from chronic pain.
