(Foto: privat) Diesmal kehrt DoP Stefan Ciupek in den Podcast zurück und spricht über die Bildgestaltung der Satire „Tanz der Titanen“, ehemals &#8222;Rumours&#8220;. Die drehte er mit dem Regie-Trio Guy Maddin sowie Evan und Galen Johnson. Ich plaudere mit Stefan über die Herausforderungen eines so großen Figurenensembles. Außerdem erläutert er, welche Rolle die Natur spielte und wie intuitiv er mit Farben umging. Jenseits ausgetretener Wege geht DoP Stefan Ciupek gern. Bei „Slumdog Millionaire“ befreite er die Kamera für Anthony Dod Mantle von den Restriktionen der damaligen Zeit. Stefan hatte so beträchtlichen Anteil an dessen Kamera-Oscar. Mit seinen eigenen Produktionen als DoP reiht er zuletzt höchst unterschiedliche Projekte aneinander. Er drehte das an Gameästhetik angelehnte Actionpiece „Guns Akimbo“ oder der dystopische Fernsehfilm „Das Haus“. Über den Ko-Produzenten von „Guns Akimbo“ Philipp Kreuzer und dessen Produktionfirma Maze Pictures kam Ciupek in Kontakt mit Guy Maddin und den Brüdern Galen und Evan Johnson.&nbsp; &#8222;Tanz der Titanen&#8220; ab 15. Mai im Kino Das Drehbuch handelt von einem fiktionalen G7-Gipfel auf dem sich die ebenfalls fiktiven Staatsoberhäupter der führenden Nationen während des Ringens um eine Abschlusserklärung im Wald verlaufen und sich teils sehr persönlichen, teils sehr existentiellen Fragen stellen müssen.
