Ep36 - The Swedish Gardener, magnetic Andy, Mr. Spielberg and so much more

Welcome to episode 36 Of our podcast all about woodwork, making things and having lots of fun. This week we get slightly serious and discuss Intellectual property rights, where is the line between being inspired, copying or stealing. Andy’s invented the Swiss Cleat, Steve’s gone All Spielberg and Pierre has a big Announcement. In this episode Andy He’s been making some tool holders for his French cleat wall, but he’s invented the Swiss cleat because his holders have magnets. Please note this is Andy’s intellectual property don’t steal it. Steve Plays a guessing game with Pierre and Andy. Steve is back in Spielberg mode as he has started making his second YouTube video and has plans for his third !!! Pierre He’s been busy being a Dad, but he’s managed to make Snus box. And he makes a big announcement about the future don’t miss it! Our Obsessions this Week Steve Steve’s mind is going and he’s not too sure if he has mentioned this YouTube channel before (its his age) The New Yorkshire Workshop with a guy called Russ who makes some fantastic woodworking videos. This weeks was all about making a mirrored ceiling and engraving the mirror with his laser. Andy He’s obsessed with electric cars and he’s watched hours and hours of YouTube videos about them. He was most impressed by the YouTube channel Carwow with their great entertaining and informative videos Pierre Has been listening to a new podcast called Absolutely Mental with Ricky Gervais and Sam Harris. Pierre has binged listened to them all and finds them funny and thought provoking.
