The Chelsea Inn in Anchorage, Alaska was recently raided by FBI and local police. The raid is more than a local news story. It’s a picture of the crossroads Jeremiah spoke of: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.” (Jer. 6:16). The focus has been more about protecting nearby businesses than about the human beings enslaved inside. The system serves the wrong master (Matthew 6:24). We are called to love thy neighbor, heal the sick... to rescue, heal and restore.
