Ep38: 'Surfing' For Fat Loss & A Happier Life

from Nourish and Nurture: Creating Healthy Resilient People Before Crisis Hits · host Nourish and Nurture Sarah Lacey

We all get stressed and stress is normal, it's just that it isn't always helpful - especially for optimal health, fat loss or living our best lives. So it is crucial that we understand what stress actually IS on a cognitive, physiological and behavioural to then identify ways to better manage it. I always talk to my therapy and nutrition clients about stress management being similar to surfing - we cannot stop the tide but we can learn to surf the waves, rather than try to change, control or avoid them (and doing so makes stress more intense). Here are ways to 'surf' those waves so that you better navigate and unhook from stress, so that you can make better life choices. As always, if you enjoyed this episode leave a comment and share with someone who could benefit from hearing it. P.S. I have 4 spaces left on the Summer Shape-Up Academy - your 90 day blueprint for lasting weight loss and well-being, so if you want to check out the deets click here . Coach Sarah x
