(Foto: privat) Im Juli-Podcast zu Gast sind DoP Monika Plura und Regisseurin Martina Plura. Mit ihnen spreche ich über ihren Sommerfilm &#8222;Mädchen Mädchen&#8220;. Sie erzählen vom aufwändigen Castingprozess, den traumhaften Motiven und dem sommerhaften Look des Films. Wer den Podcast kennt, der kennt vermutlich auch die zwei Episoden mit DoP Monika Plura aus 2024 und 2020. Heute hat sie endlich auch ihre Zwilligsschwester, die Regisseurin Martina Plura, mitgebracht. Wir unterhalten uns in Episode 38 über den Sommerfilm „Mädchen Mädchen – Hot Girl Summer“. Drehbuchautorin war Katharina Kiesl, die sich das Drehbuch der Vorlage von 2003 unter Regie von Dennis Gansel vornahm. In „Mädchen Mädchen“ geht es um die drei Freundinnen Inken, Lena und Vicky. Die drei Teenager haben unterschiedliche Grade an sexueller Erfahrung und sind alle irgendwie unglücklich damit. Zu allem Überfluss ist da noch Cheyenne, ihre Klassenkameradin, die einfach alles besser kann. Remake Der Stoff reizte die beiden Schwestern, weil sie ihn 2001 gemeinsam im Kino gesehen hatten. Damals hatte die Olga Film aus München produziert. Als die Produzentinnen Viola Jäger und Marina Schiller jetzt mit dem Wunsch auf die Plura-Zwillinge zukamen, dass sie das Remake machen sollten, mussten die nicht lange überlegen. Das Drehbuch von damals würde man heute nicht mehr so inszenieren.
