EP4: From Addiction to Church Planter

Pastor Jeff invites Pastor CB to share his journey from addiction to founding Beacon Church in Denver, emphasizing God's transformative power in his life. After hitting rock bottom, CB experienced a life-changing moment that led him to recovery and eventual church planting. Despite challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic and planting in a post-Christian environment, CB remains committed to serving his community and guiding his congregation through their faith journeys. As they prepare to move into a new building, the focus is on building a generous and inclusive church culture while continuing to trust in God's provision. 00:00 - Pastor Jeff Barthlow on Becoming Brave in the Lord's 06:17 - Brave Church Planter: From Denver to Texas 10:20 - Living In A 21-Ventue City 12:35 - Obstacles to Church Planting 13:57 - What Makes a Church in an LGBTQ Community So Attractive in Denver? 15:47 - Pastor Rick Warren on Live Streaming 17:41 - What are the Challenges of Being a Pastor? 20:53 - Senior Pastor at Beacon Church in Denver on Challenges #jesus #churchplant #podcast #denver #addictionrecovery #godisgood #god
