EP45: Ben's Story - Traumatic Loss And Keeping The Faith

Send us Fan MailSorry, this one is heart-wrenching,  but its an important episode to share. Ben ran a youth group, fresh out of college, and formed some amazing bonds with some amazing kids. One day Ben received news that the one of the kids that he was close with, had died in a BMX accident.  More trauma was to come for Ben and his wife, when they found out that the three small children they had been fostering for years, had been approved to return to their biological parents, just moments before the adoption was being finalized. He recounts their last Christmas as a family, knowing this would be the last time he would ever see them, and the renewed feelings of loss and abandonment. Through further rejection, job loss, and financial hardship, Ben never gave up, kept his faith, and trusted the process. It's a wonderful and emotional episode.
