(Foto: privat) Erneut nimmt DoP Daniela Knapp hinter dem Mikro Platz und erzählt von der Bildgestaltung bei „Das geheime Stockwerk“. Der Film von Norbert Lechner läuft seit dem 12. März im Kino. Daniela erzählt uns von den Dreharbeiten in den beiden Hotelmotiven, wie sie die großen Glasflächen im Foyer für Tag und Nacht in den Griff bekam und welches Fenster ihr besonderen Spaß bereitete. Einmal in der Zeit zurück reisen und Dinge zum Guten wenden. Wer träumt davon nicht? Der 12-jährige Karli findet sich nach einer Aufzugfahrt im elterlichen Hotel plötzlich im Jahr 1938 wieder. Hier trifft er auf das jüdische Mädchen Hannah und den Schuhputzerjungen Georg. Gemeinsam müssen sie Georg vom Vorwurf des Diebstahls reinwaschen. Bei der abendlichen Rückkehr in die Gegenwart erfährt Karli immer mehr über die Nazizeit und über die Gefahr, in der Georg und Hannah schweben. Als Daniela mir im Herbst 2024 im Rahmen unseres Podcastgesprächs über „Treasure – Familie ist ein fremdes Land“ von dem Stoff „Das geheime Stockwerk“ erzählte, war ich sicher, sie müsse mit dem Bericht erneut in den Podcast kommen. Glpücklicherweise hat es funktioniert. Mit und für Kinder Daniela berichtet von den Drearbeiten. Die zwei Hotelmotive, die das Filmhotel erzählen, standen in Österreich, die Innenmotive wurden größtenteils in Luxemburg gedreht. Da die Kinder nur wenige Stunden am Set sein durften, wurden die Tage wie üblich aufgeteilt.
