Ep49 Angel Espino

"You can change the world through art." - Angel Espino Seeing the artistic works of a master can move us in many ways. For Angel Espino, such an encounter awakened a desire deep within. A desire to paint; to express his emotions through art. The encounter was with an original Picasso piece and Angel was so taken by the experience that he decided to work on his own creative process. His journey has taken him almost 10 years and he is now on the cusp of realizing his dream of being a full-time artist. When he took up painting, Angel had a good, steady job, but it was a job that allowed him the time to explore and develop those artistic skills. While he didn't quit his "day job" Angel was very strategic about getting his work in front of people who would either help promote him and assisted in putting his work in front of buyers. He pours his emotions into the canvasses, but even in the dark times, he transfers that to a positive light; a beacon for others to enjoy and be memorized by the colors and fluidity of his creations. Angel is also a huge supporter of others and uses his art as a way to raise money and give back to many charitable organizations. We at the Art Unknown Podcast have been extremely fortunate to follow Angel's work from his very first gallery show almost 10 years ago.
