In this episode, Channa Channa Channa talks to Clarence Chong, Founder, Songwriter, Vocalist of Assault, Melodic Death Metal band from Singapore.   Channa heard about Assault via FB of their live show in Manila 2011. Channa met Clarence in 2019 in Singapore and became friends instantly. Clarence growing up in Singapore, remembers his mother playing a lot of Chinese music at home.  Clarence discovered metal music first by listening to Linkin Park Meteora album and later moved to more extreme bands thanks to his teacher.  In 2006 Assault was formed and in 2011 the first EP “The Exceptions of the Rebellions” was released.
