Ep54: Marko Reveals His 'Sexy' Valentines Outfit, Why Ox Loves Black Mambas, We Chat David Attenborough's Death

It's the day of love today, and Ox reveals his theory on Valentine's Day which has to do with a couple of blokes who invented this day with ulterior motives. Marko disagrees, and sees today as his moment to shine. He plans out his approach to Valentines day weeks in advance, and says it is his one day of the year when he is a lock. Ox still thinks the whole thing is a rort.However...Ox has a business idea to do with Valentine's Day, and surprisingly it's not actually too bad. It's a brand new app idea which requires the cone of silence given he is yet to trademark the idea. Love to hear your thoughts on his business idea.Midway through the cone of silence, family member Tommy from Darwin calls in to clarify something he heard on the pod back at Christmas to do with speed limits on the Stuart Highway in the Northern Territory. Whilst Tommy is on the phone, Ox wants his view on Valentine's Day and what his plans are for tonight. Tommy gives a weather update for Darwin given it's about to get smashed with buckets of rain.Back onto Ox's business idea, we explore other versions of the original idea, and there are some rippers. We reckon we might be multi-millionaires very soon.Ox is worried about Marko's Valentine's Day romance given a couple of weeks ago Marko lined Trish up for not cleaning the coffee machine - and he asks about the coffee machine conversation.We then hear about Ox's love for animal documentaries, he saw a doco recently on Hyenas and an Impala, with a Black Mamba. He loved it. Given Ox's newfound for Black Mambas, Marko then reveals that his favourite animal is the Meerkat. We discuss David Attenborough and how the world will be in shock when he passes. Ox wants to know who would be a bigger death on a worldwide scale than David....we can't think of anyone, let us know if you can? Ox then suggests Michael Jordan might be bigger than David Attenborough.Marko has a Can Will Still Be Friends scenario that he is after some advice on. It's to do with a professional golfer, and his kids. Ox smells a rat with this 'friend' of Marko's. Ox blames Trish and believes there is an issue with her.We then chat Reality TV shows, if Ox and Marko had to choose 3 shows to go on, what would they be? Love to know yours, what 3 would you choose? In a brave, or perhaps stupid, move Marko suggests Wife Swap. Divorce is looking more likely all the time. Ox then reveals another business idea, this one a TV show concept - Gogglebox for footy fans. Both Ox and Marko are big fans of Gogglebox, but didn't realise that one of the contestants passed away recently. Ox reveals a fun fact about Gogglebox.Third Man reveals his wife's supermarket hack. It's a ripper. But...Ox and Marko are unhappy about it and believe both Third Man and his wife Jay are out of line.
