Ep54. The Fastest Way To Get Where You Want Is Slow.

from The Inner Wealth Podcast · host Mike Kitko

Send me a some feedback! In 2018, my first full year in business, I hit double six figures on my own, with no support and no overhead. It was a fun year, and frankly I didn't do much to drive sales. Sales literally found me. In 2019 I took a different approach and hit the gas. I became impatient. I multiplied my activity and sales dropped off. In 2020 I again multiplied my activity and sales dropped even lower. I had to learn the difference between urgency and impatience. The primary elements of this episode are:Impatience is driven by insecurity, inadequacy, insignificance, and lack of trust in yourself and life. When you practice impatience, you are living from fear.Urgency is driven by confidence and courage. When you operate from urgency you take advantage of the opportunities placed in front of you, and trust the outcome. The world celebrates impatience - especially hustle whores and grind gurus. They teach you to try to resolve your insecurity, inadequacy, and insignificance through results. Do the opposite. If you want to be successful see what everyone else is doing, and do the opposite. Music Credit: "What's Left of Me" by Wes Hoffman & FriendsLinks and Resources:Click here to visit our website to access free tools and resources, our Meditation Bundle, upcoming events, and our coaching service offerings. My Social Media:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/mikekitkoInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/mike_kitkoTiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@mikekitkoSubscribe to my YouTube: / @mikekitkoMike Kitko is an executive self-mastery coach, speaker and author.
