Over the course of fourteen months, Company E of the 506th, would train in Toccoa, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee and Kentucky, before heading to New York for embarkation and eventually, England. While this period of Easy’s history has been written about before, it’s never been done so in this level of granularity.
