Ep61 - Christo Peiris

In this episode, Channa Channa Channa talks to Christo Peiris the well-known Producer Mixer and Engineer and the main man of OutCross from Longbeach California. Christo hails from Negombo, Sri Lanka as well.  Channa met Christo in the early 2000s in Negombo.  Christo one of the pioneering producers of Sri Lankan worked with many artists in Sri Lanka.  Christo was one of the early recording engineers of Sri Lankan Hip Hop.  Christo moved to the states and started OutCross.  Christo talks about his childhood, his dad’s influence,  his home studio, artists he worked with and he remembers working with Sri Lankan greats like Premasiri Kemadasa, Rohana Weerasinghe.  Christo also talks about moving to states, creating experimental music and releasing his first single.   Christo wishes to do collaborations with Sri Lankan artists in the near future.  Check out OutCross's latest single "Destiny" feat.
