One of the most notable changes was the shift to remote work. While many companies embraced this change and have found a new way of collaborating, others have grown tired of it and are starting to pull back on the remote flexibility many employees have come to expect. While there is no right or wrong way, there is certainly a better way to tell your employees there is a change coming than an awkward corporate leadership announcement video with seemingly joyful music playing and yet an undertone of a threat for those who won't comply. Sound oddly specific? It was how WebMD recently rolled out its change.
