Nam is a first generation Tibetan-American, cyclo-tourer, nature enthusiast, and budding travel writer. Through environmental activism, climate change, and reducing use of fossil fuels she started bike commuting everywhere. She now rides her bicycle full time and advocates for more gender and racial diversity within the outdoors industries. Nam is a co-founder of WTF Bikexplorers, a nationwide group that brings together women, transgender, femme, and non-binary cyclists for a 3-day summit and organizes long distance bike-packing tours throughout the country.
