EP66: Maxine Peake
from Electronically Yours with Martyn Ware Hosted by Martyn Ware
Today’s Electronically Yours episode features major TV and film star Maxine Peake. She is best known for her outstanding portrayals of strong, characterful women (Silk, Dinnerladies, Shameless, The Village, Black Mirror) - she plays Hamlet and comedy roles with equal aplomb… But why is she on EY? Her singer/narrator work with The Eccentronic Research Council and The Moonlandingz (Part of the Sheffield electronic axis created by Dean Honer and Adrian Flanagan) is as epically strange as you could wish for. Ladies and gentlemen - enter the creative multiverse of the magnificent Maxine Peake...
