Other artists that were nominated for the award included Don McLean, the cast of Jesus Christ Superstar, Neil Diamond, and Nilsson. 3/3/1966 – Buffalo Springfield is formed 3/3/1965 – Eric Clapton plays his last gig as a Yardbird.
