EP83 The Western
from Scarif Scuttlebutt Podcast Hosted by Scarif Podcast
Episode 83, we're breaking down the Western as a genre and making some observations about our favorite Westerns of the past decades. One of the more interesting things is examining all the archetypes in Westerns and applying those character tropes to modern films. They have a lot in common with our films of a galaxy far, far away...but I digress. With Westerns fading from time to time, they tend to come back, why is that? What keeps audiences wanting more? What make the genre so popular? We ask that question and make some discoveries along the way. Big thanks to some of our followers who surprised us by listing out some of their favorites, we gave you all a shout out and saw some patterns emerge as far as one particular movie that seemed to be on everyone's list...you catch my drift my little huckleberry?
