今天在榮耀軍旅單元，邀請到空軍五聯隊前地勤飛修士官長莊許台元，在服役滿22年後，選擇退伍，想把想多更的時間留給家人，這也是軍職同仁最想要追求的夢想。台元是原住民，生長在花蓮秀林鄉的小部落，從國中階段就有從軍志向，高中期間就讀空軍航空技術學院(前空軍機校)，下部隊後分發至空軍五聯隊服役，在服役過程中能到美國受訓，是台元軍旅當中最驕傲的事。本集「早安東海岸」節目，邀請空軍五聯隊前士官長莊許台元來分享從軍的體驗，也鼓勵青年學子勇於追夢，聽迎收聽今天的早安東海岸節目。
