EP9: The Church's Battle Against Persecution | Pastor Jeff & Paul Simpson | The BRAVE Way Podcast

Pastor Jeff and Paul Simpson discuss the current challenge of persecution facing the church, noting that while Americans have faced mandates during the pandemic, it pales in comparison to the violent persecution experienced by many Christians globally. They emphasize that true believers often rise to greater fervency for Christ during opposition, which sifts the church and strengthens relationships among believers. The conversation shifts to Paul, who shares his remarkable journey from a troubled life to planting churches in multiple countries, highlighting the impact of community and discipleship. Emphasizing the critical role of supporting indigenous leaders and reaching unreached people groups is essential for effectively spreading the gospel, particularly in regions confronting significant challenges.
