EP92: Richard Barbieri
from Electronically Yours with Martyn Ware Hosted by Martyn Ware
Today’s exceptional guest is Richard Barbieri, the original synthesist for one of my favourite groups; Japan. His other musical projects include Rain Tree Crow, Jensen/Barbieri/Karn and many solo albums, but most notably as a member of Porcupine Tree for over 10 years. He is the master of atmosphere and mystery; dream-inspired soundscapes, haunting and evocative. In a nutshell, an artist, a musician who commands my utmost respect, and EY’s most requested guest… Ladies and Gentlemen – master synthesist and sound sculptor, Richard Barbieri… If you can, please support the Electronically Yours podcast via my Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/electronicallyours
