from Scarif Scuttlebutt Podcast Hosted by Scarif Podcast
Battlestar Galactica, (1978) shares so much DNA with Star Wars, on this episode Ro talks with friend Nicholas Schaeffer about that shared DNA from visuals to special effects and more. The original series that ran one season in 1978 and was revived in the 80s as a cult classic generating fans from all over. We take a look at this influential television first, one of that era's most ambitious science fiction series and examine characters, actors and dive deep into why it's a favorite. Part one is devoted to the first half of season one and I predict that we'll get fans on board to do a rewatch as we prep a part two. There is so much to talk about. Take a nostalgic trip and do your own search for the lost thirteenth tribe, a shiny planet, known as Earth. That's the felgercarb!
