Ephesians 3: The "power of God" that works in us

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on July 24, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...   Ephesians 3:20  Now unto HIM that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.   I've often heard people ask, "What is that power that works in us?"   That "power" is the Holy Spirit given to the believer at the time God reveals HIMSELF to that believer.   The Holy Spirit in us is a great power:   * He teaches us all things. * He reminds us of that which Jesus has said to us. * He guides us into all truth. * He shows us things to come.   (John 14:26 & John 16:13)   He usually leads us by bringing thoughts or concepts to our minds.   He searches the heart of God to show us the will of God in the specific issues of this life. (I Corinthians 2)   *** Acts 1   Jesus says to the early disciples.   5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.   8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto ME both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.   ***   I John 2   20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.   27 But the anointing which ye have received of HIM abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in HIM   💥💥💥💥💥    * For writings on additional subjects, click here:  Jesus Ministries Exhortations Blog
