Ephesians 4

Ephesians 4 encourages believers to prioritize unity, love, and commitment to God as they serve one another and use their spiritual gifts for the benefit of the church. The chapter begins by encouraging believers to live worthy of their calling through humility, gentleness, patience, and love, which are fruits of the Spirit. Instead, Paul advises that believers should speak the truth in love, work hard, and use their words to build others up and bring grace to those who hear. Paul then explains how Christ gave spiritual gifts to believers to equip them to build up the church and to bring about unity. He stresses that every believer has a unique role to play within the body of Christ and notes that it is through each member functioning well that the church can grow in love and unity.
