I knew that there was at least once outside the night the police were called on me that I had met this person. years and years previous. I assumed it went back to high school. thus the referenced to high school in the poem. I took an unhealthy amount of time to look through my yearbooks and then realized that I must have been mistaken, and the feeling of familiarity must have been from something else. But anyway, that's where that comes from.
