It's time for a mojo injection, jump in and feel lighter. This week Jojo chats with Manda, one of the UK's top laughter leaders, about why we need to laugh more for our physical and mental health.   There are some great tips in terms of what you can do at home to get more laughter in your life.  Laughter yoga boosts our immune system by decreasing stress hormones and increasing immune cells and infection-fighting antibodies, which improves our resistance to disease. It helps to lowers stress, relieves pain and it gives your abs an amazing workout.  Laughter also helps to protect our heart and lungs.   Manda has trained under the founder Dr Madan Kataria. She is one of  UK’s most active and experienced Laughter Yoga Trainers. She lives in the internationally acclaimed community in the Highlands of Scotland called Findhorn and also loves to travel.  Manda goes every winter to Thailand to lead trainings in laughter Yoga. She had been a teacher in schools for 20 years before taking up full time laughter work. She also runs a B&B in the Findhorn Community which comes in handy if she is running a residential two-day Laughter Leader course.  Her training style is relaxed and she is known for her warmth and informal manner. She creates a ‘safe’ place for people to practice their newly learnt skills.
