Unfortunately, it's from DC, but the good news is that it's an origin story that's almost entirely divorced from what came before. Dom is joined once again by Dontre aka DJ Tarantino to discuss the latest film from DC, Blue Beetle starring Xolo Mariduena from Cobra Kai as Jaime Reyes, a hispanic American who is unintentionally chosen as the inheritor of an alien scarab that bonds itself to him and allows him to become the Blue Beetle. The movie certainly had its fair share of flaws, but is a welcome breath of fresh air as far as the stench of DC is concerned.
