Episode 0: Introduction

Welcome to the Super High Yield Anesthesia Podcast: 2nd Edition! The SHYA podcast is a peer-to-peer learning resource in anesthesia, and the primary purpose is to share the things I learn with you as an anesthesia resident. This podcast will be most useful to anesthesia trainees (e.g. residents, medical students, and SRNAs). The main educational component of this podcast will be episodes on anesthesia considerations for various procedures and diseases, so you could get HY information on these things in order to come up with your anesthetic plan. In addition to anesthesia consideration episodes, I am also planning on other types of episodes in which I will talk about the residency experience with some of my co-residents, episodes on applying to anesthesia training programs,  expert interviews with faculty, and perhaps interviews with anesthesiologists and CRNAs to get insight on who they are as a person and why they chose anesthesia.Thank you very much for checking out this podcast, I hope you continue to join me on the journey to "git gud" at anesthesia!
