Episode 0001 - Dorona

My guest on this inaugural episode of Feel Free to Deviate is Dorona Alberti. In addition to being a friend she is a performer, perhaps best know as the singer of the band Gare du Nord. We talk about her unconventional upbringing, her education at a place called “The Rock Academy,” and the ups and downs of being a performing artist. It’s long, but it was fun. Just a note, the episode begins awkwardly and abruptly. That is not an attempt to be quirky or gimmicky. It was my first session, and I had the wrong track selected on the recorder, so I missed a minute or so at the very beginning. It was part of my journey as a podcaster, and your journey as a listener. We’re all growing together.
