Show Notes - Host: Dan Hugo - Summary: Failure is always an option, despite what you may have heard about Apollo 13, but it is not always something people consider as they begin a journey down the road of entrepreneurialism. Ideas and Pitches - Having ideas is critical, whether you are an entrepreneur starting a business or merely entrepreneurial tackling pain points - Describing your idea is a first step toward making it happen - Turning that description into a story comes next - Telling the story in the form of a pitch in front of an audience is where we come in Wantrepreneurialism - Are you entrepreneurial, or do you **want** to be? - Critical are having an idea and a desire to pursue it - This desire must come from within, it cannot be FOMO - If you want it, but don´t have it, are you more or less likely to fail? Failing - Ideas are critical, but still is accepting that it might be a bad one - Even a good idea can turn into a bad one, or it may come down to many other factors - Knowing that failure is a possibility is important - Accepting that failure is *likely* is critical Food Truck App Example  - An actual example of a real idea-first effort - Failure was not considered until much later in the timeline - Things like existing competitors already established, the lack of a team (solo!) - House fire and Global Pandemic did not even enter consideration, until they did.
