Episode 0008 - Jonas

from Feel Free to Deviate

This episode features Jonas Wulff: Doctor of Computer Vision! He’s a super genius who wants to make computers see. I suppose that either sounds awesome or terrifying, but seeing as you are probably listening to this podcast on a tiny supercomputer with at least one giant electronic eye, you should probably check your paranoia at the door… I invited Jonas not only because of his high level of academic achievement and cool name, but because he has balance. He’s a super nice guy who is also an academic, who is also in demand in the commercial sector, and is also a family man. Perhaps best of all, he has options. To me, two of the most valuable things in the world are time and options, and he is certainly rich in options, which is the cornerstone of why I think of him as a successful person. I didn’t ask him about time, but I’m guessing he has more options than time… Still, whenever I talk to him, it’s hard for me to stop thinking, “This guy really has his $#!* together.” Feel Free to Deviate is the podcast about people, their careers, and their relationships with success.
