Episode 001 - Courtney Henderson - Hendo Studios

from Food Origins Podcast · host Dave A. Sands

Welcome to the premiere episode of the Food Origins Podcast! Recorded on location at Hendo Studios in San Diego, CA. I sat down with my friend Courtney Henderson who provided me with inspiration to start this podcast. Courtney is a professional photographer from a small agricultural town in Albany, Georgia. I was volunteering for an Echelon Front / Jocko Willink conference where Courtney was working several years ago and we've been friends ever since. Before opening his own photography studio, Courtney spent many years as a Professional Mixed Martial Arts photographer. Taking photos of many of the top tier fighters and champions you see today. Seeking control of his own destiny, Courtney opened Hendo Studios where he provides a place for photo shoots, podcasts, music videos and numerous other media. Shortly after we had this conversation, Courtney started his own podcast The Boisterous Boyz with co host Sunni Imhotep. We talked about what it was like growing up in in the South and how Courtney was brought up in a farming town and their daily meal collaboration of food from family, neighbors and friends. Featured are some of Courtney's favorite local San Diego restaurants and how he is growing some of his own vegetables. https://www.hendostudios.comCourtney's favorite kitchen tool:https://kit.co/FOOD_ORIGINS/kitchen-tools-kit/cosori-food-dehydrat*SHOW NOTES for this episode will be on my website:https://www.foodoriginspodcast.com/podcast-episode-1Send us Fan MailSupport the show
