In Episode 0018, I am joined by my friend, Katie Clampitt. In this episode, she shares her journey of faith, growing up in a pastor's home, and then as a college student, who had faced some hurts, trying to decide what her faith would look like. She shares how God took her into a season of learning who He is for herself and her faith continued to be built upon the foundation her parents instilled in her. Katie also shares what it was like walking through her mom's second cancer diagnosis and her own health issues with infertility. She can look back and see God's hand of mercy and grace and how He directed her steps. She shares how God answered her prayer of a child and gave her and her mom that joyful news to carry them through the darkest periods of her mom's illness and subsequent passing. Katie shares that she is now walking through a second infertility journey but she is trusting God's plans and timing because she has seen first hand how His plans for us are best.
