Normally I say that Feel Free to Deviate is the podcast about people, their careers, and their relationships with success, but Episode 33 of Feel Free to Deviate is a sort of rambling and lightly focused discussion of a film that many people consider inspirational for career, success, life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness…In this episode I speak with my friend Florian Schroiff about the 2006 film The Pursuit of Happyness - that’s happyness misspelled with a Y. The film stars Will and Jaden Smith and is directed by Gabriele Muccino.This isn’t a full scale film review or an in depth discussion of the pros and cons of late-stage capitalism. I’m not equipped for that discussion. It’s more like a conversation starter.
