Design is a tool, it should have the user as the focal point of all decisions you make in your design… That you use a software does not automatically make you a designer…. Your software applications are just tools, you are the wielder of the sword….   My Take Aways: It is when people start trusting you with work and you deliver consistently, that is when you can call yourself a designer… until you solve peoples’ design problems professionally you are not a designer… Meeting the design need makes you the designer… Get a knowledge base of the world of design, understand how design works in the business work, know the terms in your industry… Go for training… there are tons of educational materials online When you are in a community of like minded people, you are forced you to level up and become better… “My mantra for client attraction is “One Good job deserves another…” Good design is intuitive…. People might not be able to tell what works in the design… good design sells itself… Good work will attract referrals… As a Creative your work will sell you… Your desired clients’ are accustomed to a certain kind of lifestyle… they speak a certain kind of language, you can’t fix everybody’s design problems… get clear on the kind of audience you want to attract and design to suit that audience… be the kind of person your ideal client will want to work with… It will take a while, but keep at it and it will pay off… Worth thinking about…. Whatever is your core, be the best of whom you have been sent here to be…What do you want to offer to your world as a designer and creative person….Channel your energies to becoming the best at what you do…
