With Ali's experience on the digital side of news media, he offers insights on the transition between old news and new news and the changing role of journalism in the post-truth era. The two discuss media monopolies, mistrust in the establishment and new ways of journalism. Ali is optimistic about the changing media landscape, he speaks about crowd-sourcing and collaboration amongst the architects of information; journalists and technology, humans and machines.  He believes the onus is on us to manage the merging of intelligences and create a vision for a future not born out of fear.
