Episode 011 - Mental Health in Black America

In Episode #011 our host Joey talks to his new friend Kyerra Johnson from the WE Speak Foundation. It was our first time trying a zoom podcast, but all went well and we had a great chat about Kyerra's life growing up in St.Louis and sharing her story of witnessing first-hand the murder-suicide of her mother and stepfather. Since starting to understand her own mental health after a troubled childhood, Kyerra has dedicated her life to helping communities talk about the lesser publicised, mental health issues in "Black America".
