Dan was present at some huge moments in Star Wars history, whether it's the 10th anniversary convention in 1987, spending time at the helm of the Star Wars Fan Club, founding the magazine Star Wars Insider, and even on set (and on screen!!) in The Phantom Menace. Most notably (and most excitingly for Kara), Dan was the producer of the original Star Wars Celebration in 1999.
