Episode 015 - Emergency Management, 1962 Columbus Day Storm

This week we're joined by the City of Lacey's Emergency Management and Safety Coordinator, Don Noyes.  He tells us how the City prepares for emergencies, and how you can prepare at home. We're then joined by John Dodge, author of A Deadly Wind: The 1962 Columbus Day Storm.  He talks about the windstorm and its effect on the area.  Dodge will give a reading from his book at Lacey City Hall on the anniversary of the storm, Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 1:30pm, sponsored by the Lacey Museum.
