Episode 017: Soundtracks Better Than The Film, 80's Films That Could Be TV Shows, Government Knowledge Of UFOs, Lottery As A Tax
from That Was Disappointing...
Episode 017 of That Was Disappointing is Live. It’s November 2nd, which gives you plenty of time to think of all the things you’re thankful for in 2020. :)Our first topic is what movie soundtracks are better than their actual films. We’re sure Art’s employer (i.e., the Mouse) would love to hear all about how Frozen and Aladdin “blows chunks” and “sucks ass,” respectively. Our second topic is what 80’s films could be revisited as contemporary television series. Apparently, Jay has a lot more affection for the Brat Pack than the rest of us. If you have no idea what we’re talking about, well... you’re probably too young to be listening to this show. Our third topic is just how much our government knows about UFO’s. Jeff seems to have a worrying amount of knowledge regarding anal probes. Meanwhile, Producer Dave giggles like a schoolgirl at every mention of the word “Uranus.”Our final topic is whether or not the lottery should be considered a tax on the stupid and/or poor. Lex hasn’t won jackshit yet, but that hasn’t stopped him or his coworkers (from his real job) of partaking in this frivolous task. It’s normal to have a second (or third) mortgage, right?
