Episode 02: Judy Gold: It's no joke just ask an Emmy winning comedian how she finds the humor in her divorce

It's so easy to think of a comedian as someone who makes us laugh, but what happens when they need someone to cheer them up? I think my next podcast guest will be a great example that everyone goes through things, but anyone can overcome them and even thrive on the backend. I had the opportunity to chat with an old friend, Judy Gold. Judy has stand up specials on channels like HBO and Comedy Central, and she's even appeared on the late show with Stephen Colbert and the tonight show. I could go on - but you get the point: she's awesome! Judy has also been through her own divorce, but how she managed to move through it with kids was an incredible example to me of how it can be done. I loved having Judy on the show and laughing our way through the topic of divorce. We were vulnerable. We shared the hurts, the pain, the struggle. But we also discussed how she became an even better person and what she learned about herself along the way.
