She has worked in HIV/AIDS prevention since 2012, at organizations such as Harlem United and Callen Lorde. She has provided prevention services to marginalized populations, such as trans and gender nonconforming communities of color. In addition, she has hosted various events that center around the health and wellness of queer people of color. She is a passionate advocate for trans and gender nonconforming people's rights, such as access to employment, healthcare, housing, and education, to name a few. Ms. Love has won numerous awards for her public speaking skills in policy debate and is an outstanding orator. Currently, Gia is a cast member of the documentary entitled, KIKI.
