Episode 027 with Mackenzie Thornquist

Mackenzie Thornquist is an adventure seeker on a constant search for experience and jubilance. A flight attendant, explorer of music, and kind-hearted seeker - Mackenzie has successfully molded her life to be filled with travel, adventure, and friendship. She talks working for Delta Airlines, getting tubes in her ears, music festivals and the growing life has brought. Mackenzie and I have been friends for many years. We used to message each other on Myspace and pass notes back in high school, and after that, she even took me to my first dubstep show in College. We talk about our experiences together at many festivals and concerts, and we take tons of "live music" sideroad conversations along the way. (including some crowd etiquette for you Chatty-Kathy chumps out there..) We learn about Thailands secret boat-only access island parties, Iceland's beauty, Hawaii's love, New Yorks pre-occupation, and Seattle's comfort. Mack spills her favorite shows and locales of said shows - and we talk a lot about the intricate artistry and musicianship of Brockhampton, Odesza and Dermot Kennedy. One day this wonderful adventure of my life will begin its descent home. As the wheels deploy - so will the memories I've cherished. All of the fantastic places, people and musical experiences I've had will flood my memory with warmth and amazement. My buddy Mackenzie will surely accompany many of those memories and moments.
