Episode #03: Co-Founder of NexGen Healthcare Communications, Elif Fincanci-Smith

On this week’s podcast, I was joined by Co-Founder of NexGen Healthcare Communications, Elif Fincanci-Smith. It was great getting someone like her on the podcast, she has so much experience in this industry. She’s worked at some of the biggest agencies within healthcare communications. Fast forward to 2020, and she’s the co-founder of NexGen, alongside co-founding directors Simon Harris and Richard Evans. They’ve been going strong for the last 6 years opening offices in Oxford and London, with a headcount of around 35 people. For me, getting Elif to talk about her past, but more importantly her journey with NexGen was really interesting. They started off working from their kitchen tables around 6 years ago. It’s been going from strength-to-strength each year. Speaking with Elif for the last couple of hours was a really nice experience and finding out more about how each co-founder of the business has a huge benefit to their business model in a unique way was extremely refreshing. They’ve got a great story about how they came up with the business name, priceless! I hope you enjoy this podcast as much as I have.
