Si Teacher Lowel ay isang Master Teacher 1 sa Pilar National Comprehensive Highschool. Siya ay produkto ng scholarship grant mula sa isang propesor sa UP. Bilang pasasalamat sa tulong na natanggap, naisipinan niyang ibalik ito sa pamamagitan ng pagtulong sa ibang tao. Noong 2010, itinayo niya ang Pilar Reading Center na nagsasagawa ng mga storytelling at reading activities para sa maliliit na bata, review classes para sa kabataan na nag-aapply sa mga entrance tests at mga classes naman para sa mga kukuha ng teacher's licensure examination. Ang proyektong ay tinawag niyang Project Bayanihan. Sa katunayan, ang Regional topnotcher/National Top 11 noong 2014 ay nagreview sa kanila. Karamihan ng mga tinutulungan nila ay pumapasa sa eksamen na iyon.
